Destination Mondo
Escape to one of our beautiful Italian villas and stay with la famiglia, Mondo-style.
As you may already know, I am endlessly inspired by – and to – travel, weaving each and every adventure into Mondo Corsini’s collections.
Specifically, I’m in love with Italy – my husband’s home country and the place we return to time and time again. So it is with much excitement that I invite you – and your favourite Mondo dress – to stay at one of our beautiful villas.
From a stylishly restored 18th century farmhouse to a Tuscan hilltop haven, our homes-from-home are furnished with the same easy elegance as our signature dresses – and yours to enjoy for a night, week or summer.
Buon viaggio!
The Tuscan Villa | La Strega
Located: Siena, Tuscany
Details: Private rental by the week
Sleeps: 12
Nestled on a hilltop in the heart of Tuscany is the honey-hued, teal-windowed La Strega. This traditional country villa, which dates back to the 17th century, was recently restored – in-keeping with quietly elegant Tuscan design.
Throw open the doors of La Strega’s icing-pink dining room to an expansive terrace (the perfect place for an aperitivo), a traditional, rose and lemon-filled Italian garden, and an aquamarine outdoor pool. With 360° views spanning rolling hills as well as Sienese architecture, the villa is the ideal setting for a creative retreat. In fact, we have just unveiled our artist-in-residence programme; please email us for more details.
The villa feels gloriously private, its breathtaking city views the only reminder you are mere minutes from Siena’s vibrant centre. Take an afternoon stroll through the majestic Piazza del Campo, or take a day trip to the towns of Montalcino, San Gimignano or Monteriggioni – all within easy reach.
The Boutique Farmhouse | Podere la Strega
Located: Siena, Tuscany
Details: Six rooms, each bookable by the night
Dreaming of a long weekend in the Tuscan sunshine? Our beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse has six picture-perfect guestrooms, each of which can be rented by the night.
Podere la Strega offers the best of both worlds. Whether you’re relaxing by the infinity pool, dining on the sun-filled terrace – where breakfast is served each morning – or enjoying an aperitivo in the bougainvillaea-brimming garden, you can soak up the beauty and tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside while overlooking the historic city of Siena (only a few minutes’ drive away).
Each guestroom is decorated in a colour palette inspired by the local countryside. Think soft pinks, lilacs and greens, with antique Tuscan furniture and original beamed ceilings.
The House on the Coast | Villa la Nicchia
Located: Costa Smeralda, Sardinia
Details: Private rental by the week
Sleeps: 8
Escape to your own home-away-from-home at Villa la Nicchia, our stylishly decorated villa in the beautiful Costa Smeralda. Sardinia’s ‘Emerald Coast’ truly is an Italian gem, thanks to its jewel-coloured water, white sands and divine wines.
This coastal retreat features four elegant bedrooms with views of the sea, a large terrace (which, lit up at night, becomes even more magical), a beautifully manicured garden and an outdoor pool.
If white sands and turquoise seas are on your getaway list, you’ll be pleased to know that La Nicchia is a stone’s throw from Beach Li Itriceddi and Spiaggia La Celvia. Hungry? There are some wonderful local restaurants. Our personal favourites are Ristorante Gastronomia Belvedere and Ristorante Mama Latina.
The villa is a short drive from Piazzetta as well as the ruggedly gorgeous market town of San Pantaleo.
